Made from 45% breaded fried herring — of which 77% is herring coated in breadcrumbs and wheat flour — preserved in a brine of water, sugar, onion, vinegar, spices, and salt. The result is a tender, lightly sweet herring with a satisfying fried character and a classic Scandinavian pickling note.
Each 100g serving contains 8.2g protein, 11g fat, and 28g carbohydrates, with a caloric value of 245 kcal.
Supplied chilled in buckets of 5.79 kg net weight (drained weight 2.89 kg).
Shelf life is 330 days from production date when stored at 1–5°C (chilled). Once opened, consume within 14 days. Do not freeze.
